Welcome to Prairie Yarns.com. Right now we're just setting up shop, but we are working on adding a calendar of activities at the store, links to our products, tip & tricks, and free downloads. You can find us at Facebook, Ravelry, Delicious and Twitter. If you'd like to receive updates on upcoming classes and events, please sign up for our mailing list. We provide outstanding yarn, knitting, and crochet accessories in a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Our employees are experienced knitters and crocheters who are available to assist you when you need help with your projects. Our class offerings include a variety of projects from beginner to advanced knitting along with crochet classes. We also offer individual and group tutoring at our store as well as at off-site locations. Prairie Yarns supports compassionate knitting for items such as chemo caps, baby hats (contact local hospitals for details) and a hat and mitten tree at Christmas. Our Coffee Cup Project has raised almost $400 for the Great Plains Food Bank. Prairie Yarns also supports local youth organizations including the Girl Scouts and home school students by teaching them to knit.
